The Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) Joint Venture can confirm that the 2014 Australian International Motor Show scheduled for Sydney in August next year, will not proceed.
“After careful consideration, we have made the decision to not proceed with the 2014 Australian International Motor Show,” said Russ Tyrie, Event Director, Australian International Motor Show.
“This does not mean the end for Motor Shows in Australia, and the AIMS Joint Venture is currently developing and planning a new and exciting concept for future Motor Shows.
“We are in the midst of extensive market research and undertaking discussions with industry and government stakeholders to determine a model that can best meet the needs of the industry and the public.”
Any announcements regarding future Motor Shows will be made by the AIMS Joint Venture Committee at a later date.
